Application

This Device is used to secure the premises like mobile shops, small businesses, Locker Rooms etc. against Burglary. The device provides all round protection to the area in which it is installed against intrusion from shutter, Windows, Backdoor and any other entry points. Unlike CCTV, which can only record the intrusion event that can be used as witness later, this device prevents any intrusion attempt.

Introduction

All-round protection This security device detects intrusion based on Passive Infrared radiation (PIR) emitted from the human body. It can sense movements in the secured premise irrespective of the direction from where the intruder enters the area. This Security device provides protection from all the sides: Shutter, Window, Wall/Ceiling breaking and back door entry, while the shutter sensor can only provide intrusion from the shutter where it is installed: In short, the shutter sensor provides perimeter protection while this device provides area protection.

Local and Remote Alarm

This security device triggers both local and remote alarm when there is an intrusion is detected. Local alarm is a powerful Buzzer of about 110dB sound. Remote alarm is through SMS and Call alerts of up to a maximum of three mobile numbers. Both local alarm and remote alarm can be acknowledged either by giving call to the system or by sending a SMS (OFS).

Battery Backup (Optional)

This device works on the mains power. Power is supplied from an external 5V DC adapter included with the device. There is a backup system within the device to provide power, in case of mains failure. The backup system is provided by a rechargeable battery with a backup of about 4-6hrs.

Auto and Manual

 ARM/Dis-ARM The device can be ARMed and Dis-ARMed either manually by sending SMS (ONS - ARM, OFS-Dis-ARM) or automatically on a fixed time schedule. When it is programmed automatically, the device will be ARMed and Dis-ARMed at the schedule time. The ARM/DisARM schedule is programmed by SMS commands (ACT and DAT).

PIN protection

The device is protected with a 4-digit PIN number similar to the ATM pin number. The device comes with a default PIN number. To enforce that the user changes PIN number for his device, the device will automatically generate a new PIN number when the user enrolls a mobile number for the very first time and send as SMS with the PIN to that mobile number. Subsequent user enrollment and deletion needs to use this new PIN number. Any time enrolled users (trusted users) can generate the PIN (using PIN SMS command) of their preference. Whenever the PIN is changed it will be sent to all the enrolled users of that device for security reasons.

Trusted Mobile Numbers
Once a mobile number is enrolled to the system with PIN number it becomes the trusted number. Any future communication from that mobile number to the security device is treated as trusted partner communication and does not need PIN number. This is applicable even for changing the PIN number itself. A PIN is required only when there is a need to remove an already enrolled mobile number.

Protection against Tampering The device is protected against tampering. Two kinds of tamper protection is provided. Protection against physical tampering like SIM & Battery removal. Whenever this occurs the device will raise an alarm and send SMS notifications to the enrolled numbers. Second protection is for configuration data. ARMing/Dis-ARMing time, PIN number and enrolled mobile numbers are protected by this method. If these configuration data are tampered with, then the device will identify this and raise local and/or remote alarm.
